The last few weeks at work, one specific store has been popping up in conversations.  Every.Single.Meeting my co-workers kept bringing it up and saying it is "the best ever"!  Since they won't shut up about it, I decided I'd better stop by on my next trip to the Twin Cities because I thought for sure it would never show up in Rochester, Minnesota.  Well...based on the latest permits submitted to the City of Rochester, I won't have to drive too far to cross this store off my bucket list.

We Now Know What Might Be Going In The Old Bed Bath & Beyond Store in Rochester, Minnesota

One of the stores that has been sitting empty for a bit in Rochester looks like it will be getting a new life.  Based on the obsession that my co-workers have with this store, I anticipate that it will be very, very busy.

According to the City of Rochester website, a new permit was filed for an awning sign for Total Wine at the old Bed Bath & Beyond location at 40 25th St SE in Rochester, Minnesota. (Get directions here)

What is Total Wine?

According to my co-workers, Total Wine is the Costco of liquor stores.  According to Google, there are 8 Total Wine stores up in the Twin Cities area right now.  If the Rochester location opens, that will be the first Total Wine store to open outside of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area in the state.

If you want a sneak peek at what they offer, you can check out the Total Wine website here.
