.Temperatures are expected to soar into the low to mid-90s. A heat advisory has been issued for all of southeast Minnesota through 7:00 PM.

The National Weather Service says heat index readings of 95 - 105 degrees are possible because of expected high humidity.

The NWS says the sultry conditions raise the risk of heatstroke or other heat-related illnesses.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday night through Thursday night and some could be strong with hail, gusty winds, and locally heavy rains.
