I heard that Garth Brooks was going to be coming to Minnesota just a few days ago and he confirmed the news himself just yesterday on social media!

He shared an Instagram post on Monday (September 30th), sharing photos from his first day working on the Habitat For Humanity Carter Work Project in St. Paul, along with his wife and fellow icon Trisha Yearwood.

In case you didn't know, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter were passionate volunteers with Habitat For Humanity for nearly four decades. They partnered with the nonprofit organization in 1984 to help bring affordable housing to those in need nationwide.

Today, the Carter Work Project continues and is celebrating forty years with a weeklong effort to build thirty new homes and townhomes in the Twin Cities area. Yup, the project is taking place in Minnesota as we speak!

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are very passionate about the project and are back at it helping out again this year! They have also taken part in years past.

That means you may just catch a glimpse of the superstars this week. I love that they are here doing good and helping to build homes for those in need. Maybe they will take a little trip up to Duluth to see the fall colors before they head back to Music City?
