Big changes from Perkins were recently announced. And I mean BIG. They're pretty much changing their whole look! And these changes will be rolled out to all of their locations, including in Minnesota.

So what's going to be different once these changes happen?

Menu Changes Coming to Perkins

First, they're going to be making some changes to their menu.

They plan to add double-decker burgers to the menu, like a double bacon avocado crunch burger and a breakfast burger.

They'll also be "working on bringing more of its bakery items to its meals", according to CBS, but no other details have been provided on that yet.

Perkins Rebrand

But the biggest change is the rebranding. You will no longer see Perkins signs like this anymore:

And not only is the name changing, but they're also changing how the logo is designed and the look of their restaurants. They say they're going for a 'vintage fresh' vibe. I think it looks kind of cool!

The first restaurant with the new design is set to open late this year in Orlando, according to NBC in Maine. Eventually, all Perkins restaurants in Minnesota and across the country will be remodeled to fit this new design.

I have tons of memories of going to Perkins at night with friends in high school and college, so it'll be super weird to see this new branding when it eventually comes.
