Toronto, ON (Learfield)  --  Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine was named Most Valuable Player of Friday night’s 2016 Rising Stars Challenge.  

The U-S team outscored the World team 157-154.  LaVine hit 13-of-20 shots for 30 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists.  He scored most of his points on dunks and layups.

He may get another trophy today, because he is heavily favored to win the Slam Dunk Contest.
