You're putting food in bellies, you're making sure medical check-ups happen, you're giving kids a place to go after school, you're helping people move up and become their true self. Sometimes as a family, sometimes as an individual, and always with respect.

And you did it all during 2018's Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. On Monday, the Rochester Salvation Army said they raised just over $925,000, beating last year's total by almost $45,000. They missed their million dollar goal, but with upcoming fundraisers like 5th annual Taste of the Town (Sunday, April 28, at the Rochester International Event Center) they hope to make up the difference so no programs need to be cut.
