La Crescent, MN (KROC-AM News)- A two-vehicle crash in southeast Minnesota led to injuries for three people, including a 10-year-old girl.

The State Patrol responded to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and Kistler Dr. in southern La Crescent. The state crash report indicates a car heading east on Kistler Dr. and a southbound minivan on Hwy. 16 collided at the intersection of the two roads shortly after 5 p.m. Monday. 

The 10-year-old girl, from Houston, MN, was riding in the minivan. She and the driver, identified as 48-year-old Jennifer Lee Kinstler of Houston, MN, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car, identified as 82-year-old Marlene Kay Cleven of La Crescent, also suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

Kinstler and the child were taken for further medical care by private vehicle. The report indicates everyone in the crash was buckled up and alcohol was not involved. 

The La Crescent Police Department, La Crescent Fire Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Tri-State Ambulance also responded to the crash scene.
