Rochester, MN  (KROC-AM News) - Last month was the 10th wettest April on record in the Rochester area.

The monthly climate report from the National Weather Service indicates 4.93 inches of precipitation was recorded at the Rochester Airport last month. The total was almost 1.7 inches above normal, but it was over a half-inch below the precipitation total from last April and nearly 2 inches shy of the total from April 2013, which is listed as the second wettest April in Rochester.

The average temperature last month was 47.7-degrees, which was one-degree above normal. The warmest day during the month was April 17th when the mercury reached 77-degrees. The coldest reading was 25-degrees on April 23rd.
