
One Dead, One In Custody in Possible Southern Minnesota Murder Case
North Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have one person in custody in connection to the death of a man in southern Minnesota.

That’s according to a news release issued Tuesday evening by the North Mankato Police Department.
So far limited information has been released, however police are referring to the matter as a "suspected homicide."

Authorities Investigating North Mankato Death as Suspected Homicide
Law enforcement made the body discovery and arrest on Tuesday. The news release says officers responded to a woman’s call for help at the Village Court Apartments in the 1600 block of Hoover Dr.
She directed police to an apartment unit where officers discovered the body of a 27-year-old man.
Officers also found a 41-year-old man inside of the same apartment. He was taken into custody without incident, the news release says.
The names of the deceased person and person in custody have not been released. Officials have not said if there were any signs of trauma at the scene.
North Mankato Police called in the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to assist with processing the scene, gathering evidence and determining the events that led up to the man’s death.
Authorities say there is no threat to the public. The man’s death is being actively investigated by North Mankato Police and the BCA.
Officials plan to release more information at a later time.
