North St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - At least four people were wounded when gunfire erupted at a Twin Cities Park last night.

The North St. Paul Police Department today issued a statement indicating the shooting occurred around 10:45 PM at Casey Lake Park. It says officers were dispatched to the area after shots were fired while people were gathered for an event in the park.

The four people hit by the gunfire were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The news release does not include any information concerning their current medical conditions.

North St. Paul Police say that, based on the preliminary investigation, there is no known active threat to the public. At last check, no arrests had been reported.
