4 Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 52 in Rochester Sends Driver to Emergency Room
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A four-vehicle crash on Hwy. 52 in Rochester during the evening commute sent a driver to the hospital.
It happened shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday. The multi-vehicle crash occurred near the 55th St. Northwest interchange.
The State Patrol crash report says all four vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes when they collided. Four people were involved in the crash.
The injured driver has been identified as 19-year-old Brady Mathew Ploenzke of Stewartville. He was taken to a Mayo Clinic Emergency Room with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The three other drivers who escaped the crash without injuries have been identified as 24-year-old Elizabeth Ann Becker of Stewartville, 54-year-old Tonja Strobridge Ziemann of Rochester and 55-year-old Mark Andrew Ziemann of Rochester.
The report says all four drivers were buckled up and that alcohol was not involved in the four-vehicle collision.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Police Department and MnDOT also responded to the crash.
