6 Fatal Crashes Claim 7 Lives in 4 Days on Minnesota Roads
At least seven people were killed in crashes on the state’s roads between Tuesday and Friday. Three of those traffic deaths happened in southeast Minnesota.
Two people were killed in crashes on Friday.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Duluth
The most recent fatal crash happened around 7:00 Friday evening in the Duluth area.
A 56-year-old man from Saginaw, Minnesota lost control of his motorcycle and entered the ditch after failing to navigate a curve in Industrial Township, which is about 24 miles west of Duluth.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Fatal SUV-Semi Collision on Hwy. 212 in Renville County
On Friday afternoon, a 33-year-old man was killed in a crash on Hwy. 212 about 40 miles southeast of Willmar.
The State Patrol says Blaine Skyler Minkel of Hector, MN was driving an SUV west when he collided with an eastbound semi.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the state crash report.
Young Man With Rochester Address Killed in Austin, MN
A 21-year-old man with a Rochester address died after colliding with the center pillar of a railroad bridge in Austin around 3:15 Thursday morning.

Austin police have identified the fatal crash victim as William Jolan Wyche and said he was pronounced dead at the scene. That deadly crash is under investigation.

2 Killed in Hwy. 52 Crash Between Rochester and Chatfield
A Preston man and Chicago man both died when they collided on Hwy. 52 between Rochester and Chatfield late Wednesday night.
The State Patrol says 40-year-old Devon Peri Williams of Preston was traveling north in an SUV and 62-year-old Samuel A Hernandez of Chicago was driving a Jeep southbound when the vehicles collided.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene and Williams died after being brought to a hospital, according to the state crash report.
Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Jeep at Twin Cities Intersection
Wednesday’s first of three traffic deaths happened around 8:30 p.m. in the Twin Cities. The State Patrol says a northbound motorcycle ran into the side of a Jeep that was turning off southbound Hwy. 61 in White Bear Lake.
31-year-old Dana Marie Lucker Milan of Stillwater was identified as the motorcyclist. The State Patrol says she died after being taken to Regions Hospital.
The Jeep driver, identified as 63-year-old Robert Marines Rodriguez from White Bear Lake was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and was suspected to have had alcohol in his system at the time of the crash, according to the state crash report.
Wisconsin Woman Killed in Head-on Crash in Chisago City
A Wisconsin woman lost her life in a crash Tuesday night in Chisago City. The State Patrol says the driver of an eastbound pickup crossed the center line of Hwy. 8 and collided with a westbound SUV.
75-year-old Rebecca Mae Freedom of St. Croix Falls was driving the pickup. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the state crash report.
The other driver, identified as 65-year-old Jane Ogbonne Martins of Eagan, suffered life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
