Oronoco, MN (KROC-AM News)- A multi-month lane closure on a two-lane road near Rochester is scheduled to start Monday.

That’s according to the Olmsted County Department of Public Works. The lane closure is northwest of Rochester and is nearly two miles long.

2-Mile Stretch of 75th St. NW to Be Reduced to Single Lane for At Least 2 Months

75th St. NW/Olmsted County Rd. 44 will be reduced to a single lane between 40th Ave. NW and 50th Ave. NW. The work area is west of Hwy. 52/Hwy. 63.

Officials say the closure is to accommodate turn lane construction. Traffic through the work zone will be controlled by a temporary stop light. 

The lane closure is anticipated to warp up by June 30 of this year, weather permitting, the department of public works says.
