
90-Year-Old Man Killed, Woman Hospitalized in LeRoy Housefire
A man inside of the home at the time of the fire was pronounced dead at the scene.
Leroy, MN (KROC-AM News)- An elderly man was killed and a woman was injured in a southeastern Minnesota house fire Saturday.

A news release issued by the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were dispatched to the blaze shortly before 4 a.m.
Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge says the investigation into the fatal fire is in the early stages.

LeRoy House Fire Claims Life on 90-Year-Old Man, Woman Hospitalized
The fatal fire occurred at a rural property in the 13000 block 111th Ave., which is about six miles northeast of LeRoy.
A man inside of the home at the time of the fire was pronounced dead at the scene.
A news release issued by the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office describes him as 90 years old. His name has not been released.
A woman was transported from the scene to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of injuries she suffered in the fire.
Her name and information regarding her condition are not available. It’s not known what caused the deadly fire.
The Chester Iowa Fire Department, Ostrander Fire Department, Spring Valley Fire Department, Spring Valley Ambulance, Leroy Fire Department, Leroy Ambulance and Mower County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the fire.
