
Alcohol-Involved Head-On Crash on I-90 Near Albert Lea
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News) - An alcohol-involved injury crash was reported around 3:20 Saturday afternoon on I-90 near Albert Lea.
The State Patrol says a pickup truck traveling east on I-90 collided head-on with a westbound car about a mile west of the I-35 interchange. The driver of the pickup was identified as 36-year-old Nyaroup Jocklaw Jal of Albert Lea and the State Patrol report states that alcohol was involved on her part.

There were three people in the other vehicle. 55-year-old Christine Bennett of Mountain Lake was the driver. Her two passengers were identified as 63-year-old Stanley Bennett and 20-year-old John Bennett, who are also from Mountain Lake.
The 20-year-old man was brought to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, while the driver and the other passenger were transported to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Albert Lea. All of their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The State Patrol says Jal also had non-life-threatening injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment.
