Alzheimer’s study – grandkids may be good defense
( ABC News ) Women who want to ward off Alzheimer's disease or dementia may have a new secret weapon. Spending time with grandchildren can be be good for grandmothers but too much of a good thing just might be bad. A new Australian study

in the journal of the North American Menopause Society found that spending one day a week with the kids helped keep women mentally sharp. But grandmothers who spent five days a week or more scored significantly lower on tests of memory and mental processing. Scientists say harder-working grandmothers felt stressed out because their daughters were asking too much of them.
