Plymouth, MN (KROC AM News) - The Plymouth Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a deadly hit and run that killed a pedestrian.

The department Thursday morning reported the Golden Valley Police Dept. located the vehicle involved in the deadly incident about three hours after the person was killed. The suspected driver was also located and arrested.

He has been identified as 19-year-old Jack Blaschke. He is expected to be charged with criminal vehicular homicide.

Plymouth, MN (KROC AM News) - It’s been a rough week in the Twin Cities suburb of Plymouth.

It began with a shooting on Monday. A student at the Plymouth Middle School fired several rounds into a hallway ceiling before he was taken into custody.

A few hours later, a woman was crossing a highway in a wheelchair when she was struck by a truck and killed.

And now there is a report of another pedestrian death and this involves an apparent hit-and-run.

The Plymouth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the driver “who was involved in a fatal hit-and-run” around 9:00 pm Wednesday and fled the scene.
