Bangor, WI (KROC-AM News) - The Wisconsin State Patrol has released information concerning a rollover crash last weekend that claimed the life of a Northfield teenager.
Officials say the 17-year-old girl was driving an SUV and apparently lost control while driving at a high rate of speed on I-90 about 12 miles east of La Crosse near the town of Bangor just before noon on Sunday. The vehicle ended up on its roof after rolling into the path of oncoming traffic.
A 14-year-old boy from Northfield was also in the vehicle but suffered only minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. The Wisconsin State Patrol is not releasing their names because they are juveniles.
