Arrest Made After A Rochester Police Officer Witnesses Drug Transactions
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man described by police as a prolific offender is in jail after a Rochester Police Officer witnessed him engaging in a couple alleged drug deals in southeast Rochester.
A spokesman says the officer was in an unmarked squad car on Thursday when he spotted and began following 20-year-old Shun Johnson in the area of 14th Street and 4th Avenue Southeast. After watching the two alleged drug transactions, the officer stopped Johnson’s vehicle and arrested him on a felony drug charge and issued a citation for without a valid license.
A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of nearly a quarter pound of marijuana and about $1200 in cash.
