Arrest Warrant for Rochester Man Described a Career Criminal
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An arrest warrant been issued for a man described by Rochester police as a career criminal after he was a “no-show” for a hearing in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday.
33-year-old Terry Heggs was scheduled to appear before Judge Debra Jacobson for a hearing involving his arrest in October on a charge of failing to register as a predatory offender. Court records show Heggs was released from prison last August after serving a sentence for his convictions on charges stemming from a shooting outside the former Aquarius Bar in 2009, followed by a sexual assault involving a 16-year-old girl and a drug bust in 2010.
A provision of his sentence requires Heggs to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
