
15-Year-Old Boy Flown to Duluth Hospital After Crashing ATV in Northern Minnesota
Orr, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A teenage boy was flown to a hospital after crashing an ATV in northern Minnesota.

That’s according to a news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred shortly before 7:45 Tuesday evening.

15-Year-Old Boy Flown to Duluth Area Hospital After ATV Crash Near Orr
First responders were called to the ATV crash in the 10500 Block of Cedar View Dr., which is west of Orr.
The preliminary investigation indicates the ATV left the gravel road and struck trees. That caused the ATV to lose its front-left wheel and resulted in its young operator being ejected.
The news release describes the ATV driver as a 15-year-old boy. His name has not been released.

He was transported by ground ambulance to the Orr Airport. From there he was airlifted to a Duluth-area hospital. The news release does not include update on the teen boy's condition.
Speed and Inexperience Blamed
Authorities say speed and inexperience were contributing factors in the crash. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the crash investigation remains ongoing.
