Burton also said that formal charges in the case are expected to be filed on Thursday. Authorities identified  21-year-old Bradley Weyaus of Isle, MN as a person of interest in the case.

Burton announced Weyaus’s arrest Wednesday morning after investigators executed multiple search warrants at a mobile home near the body discovery site and at an apartment in Isle, which is on the southeastern end of the lake. Weyaus was arrested on suspicion of charges connected to active arrest warrants against him that are not related to Pendegayosh Jr’s death.
