
Woman Suspected of Stealing $30k from Banks in Rochester & Other Southern MN Communities
Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are searching for a woman suspected of defrauding multiple banks across southern Minnesota.

The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office issued the request for public assistance on Thursday. Law enforcement also released a series of photos of the fraud suspect.
She’s suspected of hitting banks between May 7 and May 13 in multiple communities, including Rochester.

Authorities say the fraud suspect used personal information of other people to make withdrawals from existing home equity lines of credit at banks in five communities.
Along with Rochester, she’s suspected of using the stolen information at banks in Waldorf, St. Peter, Eagle Lake, Hutchinson.

The total loss from the alleged bank fraud is $30,000, according to the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office.
Public Asked to Share Tips With Law Enforcement
Law enforcement is asking anyone with information on the suspect to to contact the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office at (507) 304-4863 or their local law enforcement.
Tipsters can also submit anonymous reports through Crimestoppersmn.org.
