Another store has posted a note on their door saying that they have closed up shop for good in NW Rochester.

We've had a plethora of store closings happen since COVID-19 reared its ugly head.  Today, a note was found on the doors of Bruegger's Bagels on Elton Hills Drive NW in Rochester stating that the store was closed permanently.  When I stopped by this morning, trucks were already there and items were being moved out.

Thank you for your patronage over the years, we regret to inform you during these trying times we are closing this Bruegger's Bagels location permanently.  We do have one location in Rochester, it is located at 155 1st Ave. SW in the hospital subway system.  You can call ahead at this location (you don't have too) additional you may be able to use Door Dash depending on the address of delivery.  If you would like to call ahead to place an order.  The phone number is 507-242-4777.

I saw the news first from Jeff Kiger at the Post Bulletin and my heart sunk a little bit deeper.  Another store closing truly is a picture of our current economy and I've lost count of how many stores have closed so far in our community due to COVID-19.

To all who worked there, thank you for what you provided each day.  I used to work at Coldwell Banker down the street years ago and met clients at your location and would grab a bite to eat there every week.

What's your favorite local business?  Please, share it with me over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.
