The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court Thursday, says the victim reported being sexually abused over the course of several years. She said the abuse occurred in residences in Kentucky and in Rochester

The charges say the young girl identified her alleged abuser as 25-year-old Quinn Andrew Pringle, who is listed as a New Jersey resident.

In an August 2022 interview with a Rochester Police Department investigator, the girl accused Pringle of sexually abusing her in Kentucky when he was 13 and she was a toddler, the court document says.

She said the abuse continued for the next seven years, with the last incident happening in Rochester in the late 2010’s. The complaint does not include a statement from Pringle.

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, resources are available for help. Visit the RAINN website (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) or dial 800-656-HOPE (800-656-4673).

Pringle has been charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and a count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. He’s due to make his first court appearance on the charges in December.
