in the incident instead of a victim.

The man has not been arrested or charged, as police continue to investigate.

Police said on Wednesday that the 40-year-old man was "attempting to flee from a mob" on Tuesday when he drove into a crowd that was speaking out against the grand jury decision in the Ferguson, Missouri, police shooting.

The Star Tribune reports that police initially referred to the driver as a "victim" but later in the day Wednesday they called him a "suspect." Additional information was not provided.
