Glyndon, MN (KROC-AM News)- A child is fighting for his life following a crash at a rural Minnesota intersection that injured a total of six people.

A semi and an SUV were involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the collision shortly after 10:00 Thursday morning. 

The semi and SUV collided at the intersection of Hwy. 9 and Clay County Rd. 26, which is about 20 miles northeast of the Fargo-Moorhead area.

The SUV was traveling south on Hwy. 9 and the semi was westbound on County Rd. 26 when the two vehicles collided in the intersection, the state crash report says. 

5-year-old Bo Ezekiel Hoppe from Crookston was identified as the severely injured child. He was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.

41-year-old Tansy Camille Hoppe of Crookston was driving the SUV. She and four other passengers, identified as 8-year-old Ezra Jude Hoppe, 12-year-old Elijah David Hoppe, 14-year-old Kai Steven Hoppe and 67-year-old April Joy Rugland of Roseau suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Hoppe, the juvenile passengers, who are from Crookston, and Rugland were all taken to a hospital for further care.

22-year-old Lucentio Dante Lopez of Pharr, TX was operating the semi. He was not hurt. 

Everyone involved in the crash was buckled up, according to the crash report.
