
24-Year-Old Rochester Man Accused of Obtaining & Possessing Child Pornography
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Multiple cyber tips have led to the filing of child pornography charges against a Rochester man.

A criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday, says Rochester police received the first series of tips last month and got the final set of tips earlier this month.
In all, investigators got three batches of tips concerning photos and videos of suspected child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), according to the court document.

The tips indicated the material had been shared. The complaint says the suspected child sexual abuse material was uploaded to a cloud service.
Cyber Tips and Search Warrant Lead to Child Porn Charges Against 24-Year-Old Rochester Man
Investigators traced the account to a phone belonging to 24-year-old Alexander Rochard Carter.
Police executed a search warrant at his Rochester home on Tuesday and seized a phone.

In an interview with law enforcement, Carter admitted “to downloading and disseminating CSAM for the past few months,” the charges say.
Videos Found Following Search Warrant and Phone Seizure
The court document mentions one video depicting a 6-8 year old girl engaging in sexual conduct with an adult man and another video showing sexual conduct involving a man and 8-10 year-old girl.
Carter is charged with one count each of possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Olmsted County Court Thursday morning.
