Crash at Busy Rochester Intersection Sends Passenger to Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A multi-vehicle crash at a busy Rochester intersection sent one person to the hospital Sunday.
Limited information is available, however a Rochester Police Department Spokeswoman says dispatch received the report of an injury accident shortly after 3 p.m.
The collision, which involved three vehicles, happened at the intersection of North Broadway Ave. and East Circle Dr. Northeast/37th St. Northwest.
The preliminary crash report indicates a eastbound vehicle attempting a left turn onto northbound Broadway collided with a westbound vehicle at the intersection of the two roads. One of the vehicles involved in the collision then struck a third vehicle.
Police say a passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. Their condition was not available as of Monday morning.
All three vehicles were towed from the crash scene. The names of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance and the Rochester Fire Department also responded to the crash.
