Crash at Hwy. 52 Intersection Sends Southeast Minnesota Man to Hospital
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A two-vehicle crash at a Hwy. 52 intersection sent a southeast Minnesota man to the hospital Tuesday evening.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 6 p.m. It happened in Goodhue County.
The State crash report indicates a minivan was traveling north on the four-lane highway when it collided with an eastbound car at the highway’s intersection with 445th St. in Zumbrota.
49-year-old Aaron Wallace Mickow of Zumbrota was identified as the car driver. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
24-year-old Margalith Lea Eisenbach of Potsville, IA was driving the van She was not hurt.
It’s unknown if Mickow was buckled up. Alcohol was not involved in the crash and the intersection was dry at the time of the collision, the report says.
The Zumbrota Police Department, Zumbrota Fire Department, Zumbrota Ambulance and Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
