Crash on Rochester Exit Ramp Sends Teen to Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenager was taken to a hospital following a crash on a Rochester exit ramp.
One vehicle was involved. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The state crash report indicates a car was exiting northbound Hwy. 52 at 65th St. Northwest. It left the roadway and entered the ditch where it struck an embankment.
The sole passenger in the car, identified as 17-year-old Christopher James Marshall of Rochester, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken from the scene to St. Mary’s Hospital for further care.
18-year-old Adam Peter Crowley of Rochester was identified as the driver. He was not hurt. Both teens were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
