Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An investigation is underway after a dead body was discovered at a Rochester park Wednesday morning.

Limited information is available, however, a Rochester Police Spokeswoman said officers were dispatched to the report of a deceased person in the park around 9 a.m. The body was discovered by a park staff member who was doing maintenance.

The body was discovered at Cooke Park at 722 7th St. Northwest. The Rochester Police Department is working with the southern Minnesota Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the deceased person and determine their cause of death.
