Eyota, MN (KROC AM News)  - It’s been almost two months since three men became victims of a drug overdose in Eyota.

Two of the men died and the third ended up in the hospital.

The three were found unresponsive in a garage around 1:00 am on Jan. 15th.

One of them was pronounced dead and the other later died. They were identified as 38-year-old Brandon Mueller and 43-year-old Anthony Holzer. The third man survived.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Capt. Jim Schueller says the two victims died as a result of overdoses of controlled substances, specifically cocaine intoxication.

Schueller says investigators continue working on the case and are trying to determine the source of the drugs. He says the man who survived has been cooperative.

Schueller says it’s hopeful toxicology results will help in the investigation. He expects them within a few weeks.
