A vehicle with four Burnsville teenagers inside crashed last night south of the Twin Cities, leaving one dead

and another in serious condition.

The State Patrol says the vehicle was driven by 17-year-old Matthew Berger. He lost control on northbound Highway 52, went into the median and rolled. The vehicle ended up in the southbound lanes.

Killed was 17-year-old Ty Alyea. 18 year old Cole Borchardt is being treated for serious injuries. Berger and another 17 year old passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were wearing seatbelts. The other two were not and were ejected when the Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled.

The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Highway 52 near 180th Street, just south of Coates.
