Stewartville, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning motorists about a detour that will affect westbound traffic on I-90 in the Stewartville area beginning Tuesday.

The I-90 exit ramp to Highway 63 will be closed for four days, weather permitting. The detour will have motorists continue west on I-90 to the Olmsted County Road 6 interchange then return east on I-90 to Highway 63.

The detour is needed while crews continue with a $2 million dollar
pavement repair project on Highway 63 from the Root River Bridge to Highway 30.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month.
