Duluth Police Investigating Deadly Domestic Incident
Duluth, MN (KROC-AM News) - Police in Duluth are reporting the arrest of a man suspected of an apparent fatal domestic assault.
A news release says officers responded to a residence located near the old Duluth Central High School Friday morning and discovered the body of a 27-year-old woman. Her name has not been released.
An investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Dale Howard of Duluth. The news release says the initial investigation shows Howard and the deceased woman were known to each other. It also states that he had an active Domestic Abuse Contact Order against him and had been previously arrested for domestic assault.
He is currently jailed on suspicion of second-degree murder in violation of a Domestic Abuse Contact Order. An autopsy was ordered to determine the exact cause of the woman's death.
