Driver Strikes 74-Year-Old Pedestrian, Crashes into Rochester Store
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A pedestrian is in the hospital after she was hit by a vehicle, which then crashed into a store at a Rochester shopping complex Monday afternoon.

Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the incident around 4:45 p.m.
The vehicle-pedestrian collision and subsequent vehicle-building crash occurred outside of Famous Footwear at 3813 Marketplace Dr. Northwest.
Driver Crashes 74-year-old Woman in Crosswalk, Famous Footwear in Rochester, MN
Grayson says the pedestrian was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicle. She’s described as a 74-year-old woman.
Her name has not been released. The pedestrian was transported from the scene by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries, police say.
Officers cited the driver, described as a 40-year-old Rochester woman, for failure to yield and reckless driving. Her name has not been released.
A description of damage to the building is also not immediately available.
