Motorcycle & Car Involved in Fatal Crash in Southeast Minnesota
Update: Young Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Car on Southeast Minnesota Highway
Brownsville, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcycle and car were involved in a fatal crash on a southeast Minnesota highway Wednesday evening.

So far only preliminary information has been released. The deadly crash was reported shortly before 8:45 p.m.
The State Patrol responded to the fatal collision on Hwy. 26 near the Houston County community of Brownsville, which is about 15 miles south of the La Crosse area.
A northbound motorcycle and south car collided on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says.
A 23-year-old La Crosse man was operating the motorcycle. The car was driven by a 45-year-old woman from Waukon, IA.
The names of the drivers involved and their conditions have not yet been released. The State Patrol plans to disclose more information regarding the crash later this morning.
Hwy. 26 was dry at the time of the fatality. The Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Hookah Police Department, Brownsville Fire Department and Tri State Ambulance also responded to the deadly crash.
There have now been at least nine traffic deaths on Minnesota's roads since April 25.
