
50-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead After Crashing into Crane Truck at Faribault Intersection
A preliminary investigation found a pick-up truck crashed into the rear of the crane truck, which was stopped at a red light
Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News)- First responders were dispatched to a fatal collision in Faribault over the weekend.

The Faribault Police Department says the deadly crash occurred shortly before 8:00 Saturday morning.
Police say the drivers were the only people involved in the collision.

50-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash With Crane Truck at Faribault Intersection
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of 7th St. and Lyndale Avenue North.
A preliminary investigation found a pick-up truck crashed into the rear of the crane truck, which was stopped at a red light on southbound Lyndale Ave., at a “significant speed,” Faribault police say.
First responders found the driver of the pick-up suffering from critical injuries. He was also pinned in the vehicle, authorities say.
Members of the Faribault Fire Department extricated the pick-up driver and rushed him to the Faribault airport so he could be airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities.
Officials say the man was pronounced dead when emergency responders arrived at the airport.
Faribault police identified the pick-up driver as Jamie William Wright of Faribault. He was 50 years old.
The crane truck driver, identified as 25-year-old Ryan Allen Konkol of Farmington, was not hurt.
Faribault police say the fatal crash is under investigation.
