
Driver Arrested for Fatal Minnesota Crash
Fridley, MN (KROC-AM News)- One motorist is dead and another was arrested following a fatal crash in the Twin Cities on Monday.

A news release issued by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly before 11 a.m.
The fatal collision sent both vehicles off the roadway. The drivers were the only people involved.

One Killed, One Arrested for Fatal Crash in Fridley, MN
The initial crash investigation indicates an SUV, traveling south in the 6600 block East River Rd. in Fridley, smashed into a sedan that was heading the same direction.
An adult male driving the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release. His name has not been released.
Authorities say the driver of the SUV, also described as an adult man, was taken to a hospital for treatment of what appear to be minor injuries he suffered in the crash.
Law enforcement then placed under arrest and took him to the Anoka County Jail. The suspect, who’s name has not been released, has not yet been formally charged, the news release says.
Officials say the Fridley Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
No other information is available for release as of Tuesday morning.
