New Ulm, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Hwy. 14 claimed the life of a southern Minnesota man.

It happened on Friday morning. He was the only person involved in the fatality. 

The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly before 8 a.m. just east of New Ulm.

Mankato Man Identified as Victim of Deadly Single-Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 14 in Southern, MN

 

32-year-old Daniel Robert Edwards of Mankato has been identified as the victim. 

Edwards was driving a pick-up truck west on Hwy. 14 when the vehicle left the road and crashed, according to the state crash report. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mankato man was not buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says. Hwy. 14 was dry at the time of the deadly incident.
