
60-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash at Dakota County Intersection, Teen Boy Hurt
Northfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- One person was killed and a teenager was injured in a crash at an intersection just south of the Twin Cities.

The State Patrol responded to the fatal collision around 11:20 Tuesday morning. Both drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles.
A pickup and an SUV were involved in the fatal crash.

60-Year-Old South Dakota Man Killed in Crash at Intersection Between Northfield & Farmington
The deadly collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 3 and Dakota County Rd. 86 between Northfield and Farmington.
The state crash report says the pickup, which was traveling west on County Rd. 86, struck an SUV that was heading north on Hwy. 3.
60-year-old Duane Daniel Maag of Watertown, SD was identified as the pickup driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the State Patrol says.
A 16-year-old boy from Farmington was driving the SUV. The State Patrol says he was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with non-life-threatening injuries.

Maag was not buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
Dakota County Rd. 86 was closed for about seven hours following the deadly crash.
