Iowa Man Killed After SUV Collides With Stalled Vehicle on I-90 in Southeast MN
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News)- An Iowa man lost his life in a crash on Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota Thursday night.

The State Patrol says he was a passenger. First responders were called to the scene of the fatality shortly before 9 p.m. in Mower County.
A deer, Subaru SUV and Nissan SUV were involved in the deadly incident.
Stalled SUV Struck on I-90 Near Austin, Iowa Man Killed
The fatality occurred about a mile east of Austin. The state crash report says the westbound Subaru had stalled after striking a deer and was in the traffic lane.
The Nissan, which was also heading west, then hit the stopped Subaru. 60-year-old Sarah Jean Shultz of Osage, IA was driving the Subaru. She was brought to a hospital in Austin with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.

Shultz’s passenger was killed in the crash. He was identified as 61-year-old Kent Joel Shultz of Osage,IA. The updated state crash report indicates he died at the scene.
36-year-old Amanda Rebecca Dunlap of Austin was identified as the Nissan driver. The State Patrol says she escaped the deadly collision without injuries.
Kent, Sarah and Dunlap were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fatal crash, according to the state crash report.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office, Austin Police Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance and Rose Creek Fire also responded to the deadly crash.
