Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News - A two-car crash Friday afternoon in Rice County claimed the life of a Kenyon man.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 53-year-old Scott Kalina was killed when he pulled out into the path of a car on Highway 60, resulting in a collision that caused both vehicles crash into the ditch and roll. The crash was reported around 3 p.m.

The two occupants of the other vehicle, who are also from Kenyon, were transported to District One Hospital in Faribault to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. They were identified as 50-year-old Christine Baum and 22-year-old Joseph Baum.
