
Update: 40-Year-Old Man Airlifted to Hospital After Southern Minnesota Motorcycle Crash
The car and motorcycle were both traveling east when they collided
Webster, MN (KROC-AM News)- First responders requested a medical helicopter at the scene of a southern Minnesota motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 2:45 p.m. An update from the St. Patrol indicates the motorcycle operator is now fighting for his life.
Both drivers were the only people involved in the Rice County Crash.

Medical Helicopter Responds to Crash Between Car and Motorcycle in Rice County Sunday Afternoon
The motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Hwy. 19 and Dent Ave., which is about 17 miles north and west of Faribault.
The car and motorcycle were both traveling east when they collided, the state crash report says.
40-year-old Andrew Steven Rogers from Lonsdale was identified as the motorcycle operator. The State Patrol says he was airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities with life-threatening injuries.
Rogers was wearing a helmet. It's unknown if alcohol was involved in the crash, the state crash report indicates.
The State Patrol says 53-year-old Lance Eric Benninghoff was driving the car. The Lonsdale man was not hurt.
The Lonsdale Fire Department, Lonsdale Police Department Northfield Ambulance and North Memorial Aircare also responded to the crash.
