
Fatal Crash Involving School Bus Among Over 500 Crashes in MN Monday
Undated (KROC-AM News)- A fatal crash involving a school bus was among over 500 accidents reported on slick roads across Minnesota Monday.

The State Patrol reports a 57-year-old Burnsville man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle, struck a concrete wall then collided with the school bus on Hwy. 62 in Minnetonka shortly before 4 p.m. Monday. Officials plan to release the man’s name at a later time Tuesday.
The crash report says 22 children on the school bus were not hurt. The bus driver, identified as 71-year-old Terrance Lee of Prior Lake, was also unharmed.
Minnesota State Patrol Public Information Lt. Gordon Shank says there were 566 crashes reported statewide between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday. 46 of those crashes resulted in an injury.
One of the injury crashes took place in Olmsted County. The State Patrol says 42-year-old A. Myles Delonno was transported to St. Mary's Hospital after the pickup he was driving left I-90 had rolled. The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. just south of Rochester near Simpson, about halfway between the Highway 63 and Highway 52 interchanges.
His injuries were described as non-life-threatening and information regarding Delonno's hometown was not released.
Shank said there were also 171 vehicles that had spun out and five jack-knifed semi-trucks.
