
42-Year-Old MN Woman Dies After Vintage Pickup Loses Tire on Hwy. 169 Near Mankato
Mankato, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A 42-year-old woman was killed and another Minnesota man was injured in a southern Minnesota crash Saturday afternoon.

The State Patrol responded to the fatality shortly after 1:30 p.m. One vehicle was involved in the deadly incident.

42-Year-Old Woman Killed, Driver Injured After Pickup Loses Tire on Hwy. 169 Southwest of Mankato
The crash occurred on Hwy. 169 southwest of Mankato.
A Chevy C20 pickup was heading northbound on the four-lane highway when it lost a tire and rolled into the median, the state crash report says.
42-year-old Aja Katherine St Peter of Madison Lake was identified as the passenger. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the deadly crash, according to the State Patrol.
Driver Taken to St, Mary's Hospital
42-year-old Justin Steven St Peter was identified as the driver.
The State Patrol indicates the Madison Lake man was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Neither one of the occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the fatal crash, according to the state crash report.
