First responders administered life-saving aid at the scene but the man was pronounced dead at the home

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department suspects a drug overdose took a man’s life.

Officers responded to the report of an overdose around 8:40 Monday night, according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.

Man Found Dead in Apparent Drug Overdose at Rochester Home

Responding officers found an unresponsive man inside of a home in the 800 block of 7th Ave. in southeast Rochester. He had drug paraphernalia in his lap, according to the police report.  

First responders administered life-saving aid at the scene but the man was pronounced dead at the home, Grayson says. 

His name has not been released.
