
Male Found Dead in Inver Grove Heights Apartment Fire
Responding firefighters encountered zero visibility and an active fire when they entered the apartment
Inver Grove Heights, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fatal fire.

It happened Sunday afternoon at a Twin Cities area apartment. Firefighters responded to the deadly blaze shortly after noon on Sunday.

One Dead Following Apartment Fire in Inver Grove Heights, State Fire Marshal's Office Investigating
A news release issued by the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department says the fatal fire broke out at an apartment located along Babcock Trial in Inver Grove Heights.
Responding firefighters encountered zero visibility and an active fire when they entered the apartment, the news release says. While searching the apartment, fire crews found a male inside.
He was immediately taken out of the burning apartment and transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name has not been released as of Monday morning. No other injuries were reported and officials say the fire was contained to the single apartment.
The cause of the deadly blaze is under investigation, however the fire appears to be accidental, the news release says.
