Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision with a pickup truck in southeast Rochester earlier this week.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said the deadly crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday. 

A pickup truck was also involved in the fatality. 

The pickup and motorcycle collided near the intersection of St. Bridget Rd & 48th St. SE, which is behind Rochester’s Lowes store.

Medical Examiner ID's 43-Year-Old Motorcyclist Who Died in Crash With Pickup Behind Lowe's in Southeast Rochester

The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist as 43-year-old Anthony Richard Ryan

Life-saving measures taken by first responders were not successful and Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene, the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office stated. 

The driver of the pickup, described by law enforcement as a Rochester man, was uninjured. His name has not been released. 

Investigation Ongoing

The sheriff’s office indicated on Tuesday that the deadly collision was under investigation. As of Thursday morning there has not been update on the investigation.
